  5. @Gemini - not sure about five but ENNEAD means a group or series of nine

    @Anonymous - NJ uses regularity instead of odd/even to indicate 'letter pickings'.

  8. With regard to "Regularly end day with a whirl (4)", in my opinion is the clue is just fine.

    Regularity comes from the fact that you use the 1st and 3rd letter of "end" and "day" to string together EDDY.
