  2. In a broad sense, the word 'utensil' would include any instrument or tool used in the preparation or handling of food and includes spoons knifes etc. Chopsticks would also come in this category

  3. Hi Suresh,
Not convinced by Chopsticks, spoons, knives etc come under the category of Cutlery and not untensils which are defined as 'An instrument, implement, or container used domestically, especially in a kitchen'
    Chopsticks don't fit into that

  4. Not convinced with Schedule either, what is the indicator to take 'DULE' from modules?

  5. Look up http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chopsticks_(disambiguation)and http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_food_preparation_utensils
Both places chopsticks are referred to as utensils.

Re Dule I am not happy with the anno either either. But the words 'taking from the modules' is maybe intended to mean that a part of that word will be taken. Not the best way to do it.

  6. Something more authoritative than Wiki is in the Oxford Dictionary of English. Chopsticks mean "-- a pair of small thin tapered sticks of wood, ivory, plastic held together in one hand and used as eating utensils --"

  7. Okay seen, utensils therefore has a wider usage as compared to what I always had in mind

  9. Hi Suresh,
Yes I am back after a circuitous train journey on my return.
It was not training (I am retired) but it was the Raisng Day (Anniversary) celebrations of my ex-army unit

  13. Hi Raghunath,
Long way to go for Sankalak, we have one more of NJ to go before Gridman's 6 and Manna's 7 and then Sankalak

  14. Deepak,

There are numerous inconsistencies in the crossword clues. Apart from 1A - Schedule that you have already discussed, 17A -Metapsychology, the anno Study of the Mind is a shocker as Metapsychology refers to the philosophical study of psychology (psychology refers to study of the mind). I am also not sure how 19D anno french castle means ler(hostler). I thought r represents King

  15. R is for rook or castle on the chessboard
