  1. Enjoyed working on the c/w today.

    9 - Izzat of swine going around others with a bit of enthusiasm (8) - {P{REST}IG}{E}

    Is this a forerunner of more and more Indian words to be seen in the clues from now on?

    30 across - Issac, tic is set right; another complaint is here (8) - SCIATICA* (Addendum - Seems to be an error here, I think Gridman intended ISAAC and not ISSAC)

    Took a little time to realize that there was printing error.

    3 down TA-TA and 6 down EX LIB were really clever ones.

    BTW, a good bit of French here. Guess Gridman is a Francophile.

  5. Didn't realise that today's Gridman CW is a Pangram, till I saw Shuchi's post at Crossword Unclued. Read about it at her blog, the link to her blog is available on the left hand side.

  6. Hello Colonel, it's very easy to miss a pangram, isn't it? I wonder if there have been pangrams before but we never noticed.

    In this case I didn't even see the need of using "izzat" when a better-understood word like "honour" would have served the same purpose. It's not as if IZZAT is the answer or its letters are required in the clue.
