  1. I sound like a broken record, but another good puzzle from Sankalak.

3D and 17D, same deposit...on top and in pot ...

  2. 9 - Handout from mother, no queen, spells out the way to live with the bare minimum resources (4,4,2,5) - FROM HAND TO MOUTH {HANDOUT+FROM+MOTHer}*

Not a very good clue in an otherwise nice run of crosswords, as the word FROM is appearing in the clue itself. But a nice anagram.

  3. We had a discussion on this a few days ago.
But on the whole, an entertaining CW once again. Good to be a broken record in a positive sense!

  4. I join the list of broken records, though I don't put myself on this turntable most days.

  5. We humans are a strange species. We seek problems when we are having it going easylike Sankalak's puzzles and when they come tougher, we seek to nitpick ! What a dichotomy !

    I enjoy his puzzles.

Any way,EPs Lps, CDs DCs, and broken records aside, I rest my case by taping my mouth shut.
