  3. 21 AC:
    Think 25 Dn finds no place in the word play.

    1. That should be 21 DN and not 21 AC

    2. It does, as correctly indicated by Deepak.

      21 25 Dn., northbound Greek character gets to the meeting place (5) FORUM {FOR}{UM<=}

      25 Dn. = FOR
      northbound Greek character = MU<
      the meeting place = def = FORUM

    3. So it reads:

      For northbound Greek character gets to the meeting place (5) FORUM

      Still cannot get the meaning here?

    4. In trying to put 25d as a ref to that clue and trying to make it look like it is clue number 21,25 d, the surface does suffer.

    5. Is that what was intended? Then what about 25 Dn dealt with separately? Any way you look at it the reading does not make sense.

  4. Several good one today and a little less tough (if that is the correct way of expressing) by Neyartha standards. I liked the oblique salutation to the Indians finding the zero in 4D. Kishore may correct me if I am wrong.
    Though I got 18D correctly, the word play is so nicely done that I did not notice the 'first' and hence could not get the anno. Very nicely done.
    I was 'materially' correct today.

    1. For sometime was misled by 22 AC: Cook, till I saw it was an anagrind. Good CW, w/o usual the twists of a Neyartha puzzle.

    The photograph you have chosen for the fish eyed lens says it much better than the long winded explanation given in the link!

    1. There were much better ones which I could have used but didn't want to get into copyright issues. For example see the one at this link FISHYEYE LENS

    1. Providing links is not an issue, the problem arises only if the image is used directly
