  1. GM is known to set devious clues. But, surprisingly, I got A BONE TO PICK, SCOUNDREDL, MUFTI, AFTERMATH, CLEAND, IAMSBS, TOILING, SELF-RESPECT, AIRFRAMES, MARRIAGE, RECTIFIES, HINDSIGHT, NEEDS and MOIRE at first glance.

    Maybe the frame of mind was fresh.

    Some doubts
    No is an anagram indicator ?
    Outside is deletion indicator ?
    Side = R or Rt (from right ) ?. I thought Rt for right is from * correct * sense not *side*?

    9. Is it called TC st.? Maybe outside Chennai, who may find these long names difficult to negotiate.
      There are lots of ...Chetty sts. in Parry's corner area (just outside harbour & Fort St.George). These were 'Dubashi's who acted as translators to the British in pre independence days.
