    Very nice crossword, Saral. Witty, elegant, well-constructed clues - my favourites are the clues for MAHOUTS, ASCOT, LEMON, CONDENSE, and - perhaps my COD - CORIANDER. Thanks to you for a great time, and to DG for hosting the Sunday Special.

  34. There sees to be a problem with CACTI clue. The clue oeads to I and C being inside CAT.

    Otherwise an excellent puzzle.
