    Doubt regarding 19A - king left for knight or the other way around?
    Or does it mean king is left behind by knight?

    3. Zero was the intended answer. As Sandhya Garu has pointed out, the clue needs to be rewritten. Perhaps 'brought in' instead of 'left' would have been appropriate

  3. High quality stuff. Needed dictionary (to find synonyms) and wiki a lot, but still had a few gaps. No regrets about missing samosa- got food for the brain instead.
