  20. Thank you all for your excellent participation, particularly Vasant, who stood with me till the end.
Apologies for the omission of the two DN clues, which probably prevented Col from making an acrosslite version. Apologies again Col, I should have given a final check before shooting to you.

  23. KKR-
Sorry for not participating fully. Federe kept me away from CW's and that was wort it!
v(esp)a was great and greater still that Vasant was able to crack it. I could not have- in spite of being a vespa fan and presently owning its variant, Chetak. I am happy about its being here.

Really enjoyed seeing Federer coming back..

  24. Don't miss the last set- it was a classic. To watch Federer & nadal fight it out for old times sake was fantastic.
13D- Upright has to be split- up right? Armstrong strongly suggested lien, but I could not go beyond that. Thank you.

  25. A pity I didn't get to participate as I waited till late night to see the Special getting posted. In any case, now its too late as the deadline is pierced. NO Acrosslite version and hence will create my own grid and attempt at leisure. From the look of it, must have been a very exciting one.Good show, KKR !

This is a nice forum for trying one's hand at compiling .

  26. Thanks everyone. Just back home after a hectic two days with my Class of 67 batch celebrating our Golden Jubilee at Vision Nature Resort, Annaikatty.
Will be heading back to Bangalore on Monday morning

  27. Wecome back to CBE. Is it Aanaikatti or Annaikatty ? How's the resort there? Tell us about it. I have always been confused with the spelling of Annamalai and or Annamallai etc as seen in the signboards. Like Koyamuttur, Coimbatore, etc. Heard a lot about it as a picnic site. Being a CBEan, yet to see the sights near and about, except Isha Yoga Centre and Marudamalai and Tamara Resort. Can you post some pics?

Missed the solving due to lack of Acrosslite. Is it possible o load it evn now? I am now doing cold solving , flitting between the grid created by me and the clues. Such a pain !

    1. The resort was good, however there were some maintenance issues in the rooms and the staff not properly trained. Food was good.

In fact, Vasant already cracked it, of course, he classified it as non-existent 32AC! I too didn't notice this wrong number.
