  1. 'Extremely' reappears in 22 D. Subject of intense debate yesterday.

  2. Thanks Gridman. I don't know much about technicalities of clueing which are discussed endlessly in this forum. All I can say is that I enjoyed solving your puzzle immensely this morning by 8.35 AM.

  3. I didn't take part in the discussion yesterday, though I had no idea 'extremely' will turn up today. I don't understand why 'extremely' should necessarily allude to letters in the beginning and end. Sometimes I use 'ultimately' which would refer only to the last letter.

    1. Discussion was about whether extremely meant just the last/ first or both the end letters.

  6. Gridman's clues are very thoughtfully prepared to ensure that adjoining words help each other while filling up. I mean , if there is a tough clue, its neighbours are easier. Thus, the house remains completely composed and peaceful !
