  18. KRK: a small clarification : DUCKYBIRD or DICKYBIRD? Young woman? refers to ducky in endearing terms?

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. not in good condition = DICKY (colloquial) in poor condition, e.g., He had a dicky heart.
young woman! = BIRD (slang) A girl or woman, especially one considered sexually attractive; also used for girlfriend
Definition: Little flyer DICKYBIRD [A small bird]

      Delete
    2. I'd rather ditch Dicky and use DUCKY as DICKY as has other 'dirty' connotations ?

    3. As if 'ducky bird' has clean meaning.

I was changing the colour of solved clues.
It was coming out very well.
However, I now find the colour change doesn't show properly after a point.
I have tried to sort it out and did what I thought should be done but in vain.
    My apologies.
You may be able to fix it.
