      That's right.Srinidhi is in class XIth. Just started taking interest in crosswords. She likes to set clues more than solve them. This I think is one of the rare puzzles she has attempted solving.

      13a my understanding, double fault is a nice (courtesy from setter) way of suggesting both consecutive servings (words) are faulty.

      sree_sree, that was the original intent but anyway nip appeared in the same order. So contemplated and used double-fault as an error as it played well with the surface.

    A small correction in the anno for 10A. The anno given by you does not account for 'starting off' in the clue. See Col.'s comments above.
