He was EDUCATED. And he was a LONG STANDING ADDICT of the GRAND SLAM.
He got into his private DAKOTA but it suddenly acted like a FLYING SAUCER and landed in a distant planet where he was greeted by ARIEL.
He felt something SINISTER and felt AGONISED as the match was to start in two hours.
He kept his KNAPSACK down and looked ahead and saw a board "RECEPTION".
He thought he will take a wild chance and so he went to the counter and showed his PAID UP ticket.
The girl pouring tea from the TEAPOT
said "Wake up Sir".
PS
He woke up to see the match about to begin on his LCD TV. The clock showed 2 am.

2 down: LISTER- Component in hospitaL I STERerilised -- Unfortunately, the word or letter I was omitted when I submitted to the Col. It was in my original. Lister from Listerine- a steriliser . That was my intention. sree_sree was spot on. Lister engine , however, was not my intention. Poornima: well done, You have sterlised the answer almost !
