  11. 1-A - None of the words (Evaluate, Commitment , etc.) or the whole sentence could connect to the meaning, repeat, meaning of the answer-word "Assiduousness", except for each being clues to form the answer-word. So, the solver is not expected to look for synonyms for 1-A ?

      15ac -ALLOWANCE is right.
      The company provides a housing allowance (as a right) for all employees in the specified role.
