    1. I solved the grid just now in Guardian.
BTW, I understand there are prizes for this Everyman grid every week. Has anyone sent?

    2. I don't see any mention about prize. Only on Saturdays a prize crossword occur in the Guardian, as far as I know.

    3. Everyman is a prized puzzle(see today's Everyman). But since this has to be sent in post only & within 6 days, do we stand a chance of reaching there in time?

    4. I too thought so, all along.

    5. Vasant, I didn't find the rules there. But the Prize crosswords of Saturday permit sending the solution by fax. In fact, I did send from here two weeks back (although unsuccessful!).
If they permit sending the Everyman too by fax, then....?

    6. The instruction doesn't mention fax. So only posts are entertained. We don't stand a chance unless we are in England someday

  3. Everyman is a prize crossword. Entries are accepted by post only. But they have to reach by Thu or so in the UK. May be difficult for us to be in time. Even if we do, chances of being picked from out of the hat with hundreds of submissions are slimmer than a kodiyidayal's waist.
