ReplyDelete+1 but search for he elusive h in 24D continues
DeleteNot for me. I needed a lot of help.
DeleteLeft open- a new way to drop first and last letters. Sounds logical. We had a discussion on this a few days ago.
ReplyDelete24D- If pond is taken as lake, direction to drop L comes separately with 'water' in between. Why water? Is it hydro giving H?
ReplyDeletePerhaps.
DeleteH is for water (hydrant)
DeleteShould not the indicator for removing L from pond (Lake) come immediately after the word? Here it comes after water which makes it more complicated. Now, it looks as though L to be removed from water or its synonym.
