Delete5,12,18,24. VITAL STATISTICS?
ReplyDeleteHa, ha. Yes if you are a GST Tax payer!
The ALL CLEAR for introduction of GST was finally given and it came into effect from July 1 of this year. This tax system was introduced with an ACCENT on making the tax simple and easy.
But then, one had to PORE over the rules and various HSN numbers to find out what the tax rate for a particular product is. One just cannot rely on HEARSAY. If you buy fresh LICHEE, there is nil tax but if it be processed...!!
Initially there was some UNREST after the introduction of the tax but seems to be settling down. As observed by the IMF and others it will take some time and one should have the STAYING POWER to remain in business and get the benefits.
Will people in PUNJAB be benefited? Of course every state from Kashmir to Kanyakumari will be. People living in Palace or SHANTY.
I checked and found CATS EYE for road use listed at Rs.45 each. Are these taxable?
Some may OWLISHLY say yes or no. Also rates keep changing for some items every other day!
Better check with the official APP.
GST- Great Story Teller!

DeleteAmong so many gems today, Vital Statistics was my COD.
ReplyDeleteSuperb blog too.
Thanks Arden & Col for a great start to the day.
I could not make out the 'dozen' part until I saw the blog. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteVery nice grid :)
ReplyDeleteIt is becoming increasingly dangerous to walk on the roads. A recent experience:
ReplyDeleteI don't try to cross big roads like 70-feet or 100-feet with lane traffic.
If I decide to cross a small road, it will be at a safe place.
This was one and I decided to cross it at a T junction.
I see no vehicles, not even two-wheelers, coming from my right, so I easily cross to the middle and pause near a divider where there U-turn is not allowed for vehicles coming from my right before I came there.
I see a sedan turning to right from the road opposite and it is likely to be followed by vehicles behind. I decide to continue crossing and I walk quickly.
BUT
I am surprised by a two-wheeler riding past the moving sedan in a curve, going to the free space, riding RIGHT and turning left and onward.
Nobody wants to stop at signals.
An everyday occurrence everwhere. Scary to watch traffic at any junction, including the one some 50 metres away from our apartment building.
In India, it is not enough if one is just a driver. One should be racer too!
DeleteYou mean the pedestrian- like Bolt?!
DeleteI had this experience two or three times. I ride a bike. I switched on the right indicator and was also signalling with my hand as a matter of caution. As I was about to take the right turn another biker overtakes me on the right, takes a left turn and questions my driving style!
DeleteOur civic sense have gone for a toss. In Indore, a moderately big city, at every signal, I see two wheelers and even four wheelers parked on the pedestrian walk ways, poised to take off as soon as signal changes from red to green. I tried questioning a few. All I got were strange looks as if I was joking!
DeleteYes, they do- to cover up their own sins.
ReplyDeleteFor 5d, I had it as

DeleteComposite or reverse addition
DeleteBut how to take R?
ReplyDeleteTake=recipe=R
DeleteDid not think of that.
