  2. The old man was hummimg "Main RICKSHAWala" snug in his easychair.

His grandson who was expecting an ADMIT letter from PRINCETON University (he always wished to study in an other CONTINENT) was seen pouring over Christian Sardet's PLANKTON. At the same time he wondered about the new NORMS for a student visa and the many RIDERs. One should have LATERAL thinking. Why not apply to University of SYDNEY too?
Schoolgirl Ritu was rushing to school with her project on NEANDERTHAL MAN after having BEHOLDEN the ELEPHANT god a second time.
Mother in kitchen with coconut KERNEL in hand was mentally finalising the RECIPE for afternoon lunch.
Yes, the lazy MOONLIGHT dinner yesterday is a thing of the past and a busy week has begun!

    3. Thank you CGB- again an enjoyable one. I suggest someone with access to computer memory save these stories- may be read out at our meet or some such occasion at a later date- to reminisce. Topical and interesting.

  4. ARDEN at his best ! I loved getting EXTREME UNCTION & BEHOLDEN& EARLOBE. He has also incuded his pseudonym ARDENtly ! The word ALDERMAN itself is NEANDERTHAL, isn't it ! HORSEPLAY is an adroit use of HORSE for Arab & play for FROLIC ! Bravo, ARDEN. You're taking cryptic solving to greater heights !
