  20. Thanks Doc, for a nice grid. I have filled this in record time amidst a cacophony of two kids and a horde of visitors including two teenagers, and simultaneously popping in and out of my room. Alas, my loss that I can't participate activley here as we ae nearly 14 hours away.

I liked WET BEHIND THE EARS ( a Wodehousean favourite ) and DOLTISHLY. WONGA was a no go word for me and never heard before but I connected ). Didn't we see Taliban as Taleban recently here ? How come so many negative words today ? PUTRID, UNCLEAN, DOLTISHLY, WET BEHIND THE EARS, FLOUNDERS,BAMBOOZLED, NARKS et al ?

Coouldn't have missed doing this grid of yours. Thanks to the Col too !

    1. Thank you Raju for solving and for your comments! As for the preponderance of negative words, I created this grid in Dec 2015 (much before I joined TH) and don't recollect what negative thoughts were playing on my mind then :)
