    1. Thanks to you, Col, for having given an opportunity. In fact, you should take the credit for the theme for having preserved the grid from Sept when I had sent this to you, until Diwali, making it topical and opportune. I am happy for it. I am an ardent green warrior and also follow my principle as much as I can. The late Dr. Wangari Maathai from Kenya had inspired me, as she was a fierce defendant of Nature and was honoured witha Nabel Prize too , Her memorable protest with other adherents , mainly females, in Uhuru Park is a testimony to her zeal and many who threatened to strip naked, were beaten up by the police ! The Government had to acquiesce and give up the plans to erect a sky-scraper in the Park which serves as the lungs for Nairobi city centre. I had the honour of knowing her personally.
