ReplyDeleteManaged to solve only 8 clues. Then came to peep here.
ReplyDeleteThe clue for 6Dn NU(is)ANCE is beautiful, missed it.
The play with S words was enjoyable, again I could not solve it.
3Dn for "occupies" had a nice surface and enjoyed solving it.
in 11Ac the clue has the word FIND and the solution is FAULTFINDING. It was unsatisfactory to me.
Tough to parse, enjoyable to solve.
ReplyDelete15A I think is Definitions by Example and not rebus. Rebus clues generally do not have definitions like gegs?(9,4)
Thanks Bruno for the challenge and Ramesh for the blog.
Nice puzzle but I found it tough. Didn't get 4.
ReplyDeleteDraw as in tie between two teams.
Delete8D TIED could better "level" the scores?
ReplyDeleteTough nut to crack today. Wonder why lesser comments ?Where does one put 15 across type of clues ? Annotation does not click ! Nice decoy though !
ReplyDeleteI would classify it as punny wordplay . There is a definition and the capitalisation indicates something unusual
DeleteI meant it as a punny wordplay - somewhere in the vicinity of a DD (one of the definitions by example)
