  27. I just noticed 'explosiva'- an indication to change the last letter from E to A. Maybe you will have some brickbats from the experts. 'Explosiva' is not a proper word.

    When I wrote this clue first, I put explosiva to indicate changing the last letter from e to a.
    Then I thought that clues should not be constructed like this.
    Later I thought let's try and get feedback from all you experienced folks.

  41. For the anno for 12ac, I had thought it as: we keep seeing left for L and L is the third letter of Gold. (Third in the clue is the meaning.)
