ReplyDeleteThe grid is full.
ReplyDeleteIf I may, about half the grid is filled with solutions annotated by special characters like "() [] {} <=*..." with no reference to the words in play. What words(in the clues) represent those special characters helps newbies get better in this blog.
Identify the indicators and definitions precisely to add quality.
IMHO😎🙏
Look under Annotations in the panel on the left hand side of the blog
DeleteI understand the convention taken together with the full clue identifying the Definition and fodder.
DeleteIt is only my humble request to seasoned solvers to be less cryptic while providing answers. Most regulars, giving single answer after 11AM, break down their answers like good teachers.
I don't mean to stretch it, but want to be absolutely certain the point is understood.
DeleteToday: Comment @10:55 had five correct answers in the conventional format(I guess) without specifying definitions or substitutions or indicators.
Just giving latest example of a (seasoned) solver giving fillers(solutions). It is not about filling the grid! Not on a Friday!
We are hoping for a second Friday rules blog every week.
