ReplyDeleteAll clues with "magnificent" are part of the theme. All players, the coach and the date appear in the grid.
Each themed clue has a "description" part that indicates what the person did in the match. For example, Bumrah maintained a very frugal economy rate, Kohli played the sheet anchor, Pandya defended 16 runs in the last over.
I think that many of you figured all this out.
ReplyDeleteIt's probably unfair to clue based on what happened in one match. But I am sure many of us watched that match closely, or missed it due to stress and nervousness but read all the reports later.
