    1. Congrats for being the first one to comment about the theme. War of independence is what I would have liked to clue. But both did not fit in my grid

    Just 'upwardly' doesn't make sense.

  5. No mention of Pangram? Taken for granted in all Sunnet puzzles? "What are letters there for, after all? Use them." says Sunnet month after month.
Thank you for the enjoyable CW.

    1. I think Col. decides that it is a pangram when he sees my byline. The last 42 of CWs have been themed pangrams

    2. All 42 being thematic and also pangram is a no mean feat. Congrats.

    3. Did you also have a few double pangrams in them?

    5. The circus theme had a double pangram. Not sure if there was any other double pangram.
I figured that a double pangram makes less sense because, I would not be able to create one every single time. If the solver has a reasonable expectation of a CW being a pangram, then he/she may be able to use that information to get the last few words.

    7. You have a point there. It becomes an additional clue, sometimes more direct (in terms of letters Q,J etc.) But still making it should be an effort from the setter's angle.

  8. Amazingly creative effort, Rameshji ! How much time do you take and is it too much to ask the means and devices you use ?
