  3. 21D : DINETTE DI(NETT)E

  4. 12A. I am not clear about the deletion indicator for s.

  5. It might be that leader has 'd' implies that s has to be removed

  6. Which implies head of ship and hence S, is it?

  7. It is interesting to note that one of the meanings of headship is given as leader but not the other way round. What I am trying to say is that it is difficult to get headship from leader.

  8. too many convulsions in Vulcan today?

Shouldn't there be a deletion of S from suffer and replacement by D in 12 across?

13 across is again hard to stomach !

    !5 across: VIRGO+ house ?

18 across AG in BORE = manufacturing plant ?

17 down: M Bod is married person?

  10. Leader's daughter could be taken as leader 'has' daughter or leader 'is' daughter. So the answer becomes D (-s)uffer
