1d IMU, (artists) outdo:portion of music:m in treble. rock is def.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get 'outdo' from?
DeleteSorry typo. (Typing from mobile). Its outro.
DeleteI can't agree Prasad.
DeleteOutro is the concluding part of music. So, we should be considering C rather than M
Outro is piece of music. so M inside Treble. Rock is the definition
DeleteIt is not only a piece of music. It could be the concluding section of some music, TV or radio programme, game, etc.
Delete13AC I felt it is:
ReplyDeleteN+EVERMORE
to be always=evermore
limit[edge] of certain=N
+1 but couldn't anno how n gets in front.
DeleteIt is A on B or vice versa
DeleteI have a doubt on the def. Nevermore is never anymore or never again, which means not repeating. At no time implies not even once! Do they mean same?
DeleteCould it be a DD?
ReplyDeleteI have a doubt about 21D-
ReplyDelete6 games is A set- how can we get 'sets'?
The set is over(up) after anyone takes 6 games in a row.
DeleteIt has to be in a row. Not necessarily just 6 games. At 6-5 the set is not yet over
DeleteNot even six games can give you set. It can be 10-8 to win
Delete
DeleteI am not clear on the "necessary and sufficient" rule yet. I only pointed out on how to read sets up.
KKR,
Delete10-8 is not in a set- it is the (deciding) match tiebreak. A set is either 6-4 or 7-5.
My quwation was how A set become sets?
That way even 7-5 is a tie breaker. The rule is 6 in 10 serves. At 5-5 its a tie and whatever follows is a tiebreaker.
Delete6-0 is a set
Delete13A Hi! I think setter's intention is ...To be always within a certain limit? = Never More. (When one is 'Always within a certain limit', one is 'Never beyond a certain limit' i.e Never More)
ReplyDeleteAt no time = direct defn.
+1 Doc
DeleteYes,looks more like it.
Delete+2 Doc
Delete1A. For a while I took 'temper tantrums' as the definition but of course soon realised it is an anagram of 'tantrums one'. A great clue! Thank you, Vulcan.
