  1. 5d tenement is a building, more than one flat!
    Is it also singular?

  2. No comments?!
Does it mean all are busy or no doubts/ clarifications for this enjoyable, but simple and fast version of GM CW?

    1. I would think no doubt or clarification means less comments. Most solvers would have solved the crossword, would have visited the blog to check their annos. But having no doubts would have little to comment.
For me it was a particularly hectic day at work.
      The puzzle was very enjoyable.

  3. Yes, fast and enjoyable. I could parse quite a few after getting the solutions and then see GM's mastery!

  4. For the very first time, could finish all except OUTSET and CARMELITE and EARN.
Maybe I would have found Earn and Outset if I persisted..But Carmelite I would not have..But the clue is too good. For a novice like me, I think Gridman is the easiest...
