ReplyDelete4d HUSH MONEY
ReplyDeleteReady is an informal word for money (like ready cash)
When ready(money) is used to shut one's mouth, it is called hush money.
CD?
ReplyDeleteFor me, today's beauty is 13D ; simple and first time cw clue - tax all over India, that is GST. Definitely, this wud not hv been used a few years ago when CST, TNGST, VAT, etc. prevailed and the GST was yet to be introduced.
