DeleteA request to all Friday solvers-
ReplyDeletePlease take a look at Col.'s blog in the evening to correct/ alter/ improve your solutions. We find the same mistakes and comments are repeated week after week with no attempt to correct/ improve.
Mostly, the def.is not mentioned at all and all wordplay tend to be called anagrams.
Anagram/ reversal, containment indicators are to be clearly indicated.
Please correct me if I am wrong.
2D is it Russian old woman!
ReplyDeleteBecause it's not just russian but any old women in Russian language.
Also Babushka was "imported to English on 20th century, and British don't insult directly!they attached it to the scarf these women commonly wore" and so American English calls the scarf Babushka!
