      Hi thanks for the input. Your sentence looks like a substitution clue with A for T. At any rate, I would look at Gains specifically as a container indicator.
      As long as you are aware, Needs/Wants is a deletion ind, (which you are now) there is nothing technically wrong in the clue as it stands.
      When you need something, you don't have it. (Hence deletion)
