  2. Yesterday when I saw VILLI in Saral's grid, I did think of the villainess in our old films but did not articulate it. The irrepressible Raju has mentioned it in yesterday's blog. Villi is Tamilised fem form of villan.

    1. Gridman is above par today !

DELITTANTI is a clever pluralization of delIttante ! only the cognoscenti=e can sense the nuance !

PEACE TERMS reminded me of the MAKE LOVE, NOT WAR of the hippie generation of the sixties who then went on to proceed and procreate more of their kind!

RAINDROP- reminded me of the song- Rain drops are fallin' on my head ! Very poetic cluing by Gridman. However, here in New Haven it has been drizzling and drizzling last two days-- leaving me to hibernate indoors- but I am not complaining because I can do many crosswords. While Nature is giving ROUGH outside, it is good to DAYDREAM inside !

ANDROID - another NEW Age term from a veteran- keeping up with the times , eh ? Gridman knows how to KEEP THINGS GOING !

TWO FIFTIES make a HUNDRED ! not a hundred per cent ! but today's grid scores a CENTUM !

MARCONI's nationality changed without any visa but by a mere anagram of MINORCA?

    2. Fifties:halfs. 2 halfs make 1 (complete) thus: 1 is said as one hundred percent.
