DeleteHappy Deepawali to all atiradha and maharadhas here. Thank you Col for a very informative and lively Blog.
ReplyDeleteAthi Ratha, Maha ratha.... are part of a series of war charioteers of which Dasratha is also a part. It means he can single handedly handle ten rathas in opposition. Am I right. Chandrasekhar?
DeleteThere are also ardha rathas in this blog.
DeleteHappy Deepavali folks.
🎊🎊🎊
What i meant was great men. These word also appear if i remember properly in Gita too, indicating great warriors.
DeleteUnderstood. Just trying to show off my knowledge, I guess😁
DeleteActually ardha rathas are less in ranking, warriors nevertheless. Bhisma designated Karna as Ardha Ratha(unacceptable to Karna) which kept him away from Kurukshetra battle till Dhuryodhan took over in Mahabharat.
Special at 7 AM tomorrow by Ghaza as there is no paper
