ReplyDeleteLate and I missed all the fun, though I did fill in on my own. I have a doubt about 27A and that does not seem to have been done. Waiting for it.
ReplyDeleteAs Raju says "There is always a next time".
Thank you Raju for the enjoyable CW.
The enu in the AcrossLite version is wrong. It should be (6-4). The clues for 19D & 21D in the Across Lite version also have been wrongly entered

Wrapping up with 27A:
ReplyDeleteBONE SETTER (a nod to our multi-talented Dr Nabar!)
Nice grid, Raju - thanks!
Tx Ramki:) Thanks to the blog, we have become acquainted with so many multi-talented friends!
DeleteThank you Raju
ReplyDeleteThank YOU, Col. I knew that BONE_SETTER would be the last one to fall. When you had alluded to Dr. Nabar as a multi- talented person, some time ago, I had this clue pigeon-holed in my mind. I don't know under what category this would fall as a clue, referring to one amongst us. You gave me an opportunity to use it as your comment was made very recently and all our fellow-bloggers would recall it promptly. The hint was 'medic'.
ReplyDeleteThank-ye all for your support and encouragement . God bless ye-all.
Thanks Ramki & Dr. Nabar.
21 Holy man's headgear seem at tribe's assembly (7)
ReplyDeleteHere, 'seem' appears to be a typo for 'seen'. Please check with the original.
Great entertainment Raju,
ReplyDeleteLate entry but started solving the Acrosslite version, unmindful of the glitches there and got stuck for ever!
Sensed trouble looking at the repeats in 17DN and 19DN and came to the comments area. Only then, I noticed the bone of contention in 27AC. Good clue!
Thank you , KRK-ji. I am glad that you enjoyed the puzzle set by me, despite the technical typos in the Acrosslite. 27 across clue was an inspired clue for me ! God bless.
