      Very nice compilation KKR. Enjoyed solving the crossie. You will be surprised to know that just couple of days ago I had written a more or less similar clue for 'Igloo'. The coincidence is really astonishing!

    Conducive for a very smooth and enjoyable solve.
    Once I got the 14 letters on top and bottom rows and 12 letters on left and right extreme columns, the rest followed.

    KRK: a small clarification : DUCKYBIRD or DICKYBIRD? Young woman? refers to ducky in endearing terms?

      not in good condition = DICKY (colloquial) in poor condition, e.g., He had a dicky heart.
      young woman! = BIRD (slang) A girl or woman, especially one considered sexually attractive; also used for girlfriend

    I was changing the colour of solved clues.
    It was coming out very well.
    However, I now find the colour change doesn't show properly after a point.
    I have tried to sort it out and did what I thought should be done but in vain.
    My apologies.
    You may be able to fix it.

      I have done this before. Last time I was striking it off. This time I lightened the colour. I have carefully tried to remedy the present muck-up but am unable to fix it.

      I was wondering about the different shades.It might have helped if some of the red had been passed on to the solved clues! (Colour difference not noticeable) but most of the solved clues were in a lighter shade.
