Hypatia is a bit kind today!
ReplyDelete19D what is the definition here? is it romantic?
ReplyDeleteLyrical is more "romanticized" than romantic. But yeah, this romantic is the def as per setter.
DeleteBut romantic is at neither end. It is in the middle.
DeleteProbably singer( the word to be deleted) is not
in the correct position?
looks like it is a CA because of the "this" keyword. So, the def can appear in the middle as it ususally does in a CA.
DeleteThank you.

ReplyDeleteA lovely PANGRAM from Hypatia.
ReplyDeleteRather easy today.
My fav -:MISSPELLS, PERSISTENT, SIAMESE..
Thanx Sowmya!?
Vladimir planned his Valentines day carefully.
ReplyDeletePERSISTENT in his pursuit of Anna, he had sent her a SHIH TZU as an advance present.
He knew she would call him and then he would serenade her with his LYRICAL SONATA.
Earlier the International GREEN AUDIT reports had been declared and the Ambassador was very happy.
There was to be a gala in the evening with plenty of WHISKY where Vladimir wanted to announce his CONQUEST to the JUNTA.
But wait! The TELEVISION SET said it is midnight and the SOUND BITES were long over, yet no phone from Anna.
Alas! Vladimir had MISSPELT Anna Vasiliev's name and the dog was delivered to the SIAMESE club dancer!
What will Vladimir do now?
The Race to Expedite a Mulmul before Anna Acts-up confirm him to infirm-ary.
DeletePandora can SINK him from Mughal to Capachino
Pls read (and confirm him to infirmary*)
DeletePERSISTENT as he was, he didn't let his heart SINK. He rushed to the pet shop. They had run out of SHIH TSUs. He considered the CAPPUCHIN instead. On reconsideration he thought..not a great idea. Being an avid cruciverbalist, he decided to stick to the grid. MULMUL would be great. He quickly packed it and used his contact with the courier MUGHALS, he ensured that the delivery was EXPEDITED. I wonder how Anna V responded. I leave it to the imagination of the FORUM!!!
ReplyDeleteI erred by solving 3-D as MAGNATES by reckoning this word for 'powerful tycoons'.
