  3. 25A- Nair is writing this from U.S. where widows may commonly remarry. If they do, they may become widows again!! (though a little far fetched)

  7. Could anyone please clarify how to read/parse 1Down,
    Doesn't 'found soldiers restricting service <=' yield {MET DIA OR}?
    As per the answers above, Only found (MET) is restricting service (AID <=), and then comes soliders (OR)

  8. It's (metor) restricting (aid<=)
    It's not a given that insertion is after met and before or.
    where to insert is solvers task.
    Obv Metaidor doesn't make a sense.

    But with ("met or", "dia") and definition judge and little practice mediator will be literally in aour eyes.

    As you said setter could choose to restrict dia in met only. But sometimes setters intentionally and sometimes by force of surface they latch onto resort to such technique. A perfectly acceptable one, as per cryptics grammar.
