    Liked TEASHOP, HYGIENE, HOUSEWIFE, HEARTEN, PEGASUS to name a few.

    Doubt on 21D: While Lent = fast is okay, I am not sure if it can be used in the plural as Lents for fasts, since it refers to the period of fasting of 40 days.

    1A: Bidding should translate to DICTATION or DICTATING and not DICTATE? "Bid" may work better IMO.
