GRID
Sunnet is enigmatic today. Liked the way of cluing. Enjoyed well. Thanks
ReplyDeleteBond is back. So is our 'pangram'mer.
ReplyDeleteNice one. Enjoyed. Thank you Sunnet.
Nice grid, thanks Sunnet! Didn't get the theme till I saw the blog.
ReplyDelete18D: Agitated by America blocking natural delta (8) CRUSADED {CR{USA}DE}{D}
Didn't get the anno. I thought natural = CRUDE, in which case U in USA is doing double duty? Or if America = A, then can't account for the extra letters.
Typical error made by setters. Sunnet has overlooked the fact that U appears in crude as well as in USA.
DeleteI too have missed it while annotating

You seem to be right Ramki.
DeleteWe will have to go to South Africa in stead of America!
DeleteMaybe SA was meant to be (South) America
DeleteThat is the way I annotated it
DeleteThat was an oversight on my part. I did not factor the U coming from crude as well as USA. My apologies to all the solvers
DeleteA quick solve...enjoyed the Bonding!
ReplyDeleteUnfinished business in toilet-how Elvis begins to die in smalls (5,4) is a clue in today's Guardian!
