ReplyDeletePOS mismatch in 3D (adjective vs noun) and 6D (adjective vs verb)
ReplyDelete6d dict has both as synonyms.
DeletePrasad-ji can you please give the reference?
DeleteI checked Collins and Chambers. Both mention "bananas" as a slang adjective for "crazy" and "go bananas / be bananas" as "to go crazy / to be crazy" in other words "to have a screw loose"
Thanks.
In 3d - we can't take - bushy and drooping at the ends as a definition for WALRUS MOUSTACHE?
DeleteReg 6d - I also felt go should have been included with bananas.
Nice Puzzle. Happy to get the long ones.
ReplyDeleteMy fav
ALEPPO, CHOLERIC, COLLAPSE, PORTUGAL.
