REFERENCE LIST
Oscar=O, Is in Paris=EST {Is in French}, Book=B, Order=O, Adult=A.
A classic from Arden!!
ReplyDeleteI could not get the 'Club'.
Otherwise, enjoyed every bit of it including the Top of the World, Mantra, Asteroid, Algebra (always tough!!)
1A- "It reverberates twice" is the def.?
ReplyDeleteHave marked now.
DeleteYes. An echo of an echo. (On even more)
DeleteBtw
About is reversal! Or anagram
Yes, curiously both work well!!!
DeleteAbout is anagram indicator. Reversal of cheer gives reehc which won't work right?
DeleteRight. By mistake, I read the reversal as reech! (followed by O.
Delete'Stays silent'- Had a good laugh!!!!
ReplyDelete11A Is ' reviewed' a Reverse Indicator?
ReplyDeleteI was fixed by regularly-). Hope it doesn't happen regularly...
Yes, 'Reviewed' is an obvious reversal indicator. Regularly is only to get R- start of reverse T.
ReplyDeleteGot 'Cream soda' alright, but did not know Coda. After knowing (from the link) that it is from music,it rang a bell.
ReplyDelete23A- I had put in 'Catalog' assuming classify as the def. and got stuck for a while.
ReplyDelete5D is an exceptional anagram!! Felt happy getting it.
ReplyDeleteSomehow felt walking in to a familiar CW territory after going through a week. Welcome Arden for a lovely CW. Got a lot of Aha moments.
ReplyDeleteSathia
Yes. +1
DeleteLoved 4A, 23A etc

Although enjoyed in my attempts at today's grid set by Arden, I erred at the very outset by solving 1-A as OLEOLE, the Hispanic cry to buck-up.
