Easy outing today though some of the clues I felt were innapropriate, few repetitions also which normally is never done by a compiler.

13 - Open to discussion, information comes up in the good book for one expert (10) – {NEG*}{OT}{I}{ABLE} Expert is repeated in 29A with the same answer, normally not done by compilers
14 - A joint on the Spanish weapon (5) – EL{BOW}
15 - An explanatory phrase on superficial attractiveness (5) – GLOSS ? Annotation not clear to me
23 - Accountant has a coil twisted on the cotton cloth (6) – CA*{LICO*} Did you know the word Calico originated in Kozhikode (earlier Calicut)
24 - Painter conceals the large spa for a Hindu nymph (6) – A{PSA}R{A}

26 - Note the old thing taken up by the penny pincher (5) - {MI}SER Cannot explain how SER is indicated by ‘old thing taken up’

    15.D GLOSS = Explanation[see www.dictionary.com].

    In 13 D, How does NEG figure? I got the clue by filling in the blanks and figuring out I & ABLE?
