    1. I took it as (late)*,revolutionary being anind.

    2. Or is it that 'revolutionary' is reversal indicator?

    3. Def. should be 'shortened ending for a series'.

    5. My understanding is:
Behind=later; when ending is shortened, it becomes LATE. It being revolutionary, becomes ET AL<

    6. Et all is a shortend form of et alia.

  4. Found this tough all the way. Struggled to get even the easier ones. Struggled in particular for the two long ones, Dramaturge, court, Emery, Ghee.
Such puzzles bring you down to earth with a thud and make you work harder.

  5. It happens at times.
Today, surprisingly, I got all except 2- of course with some help particularly for dramaturge (I could not get the ending)

    1. I did get all but had to struggle to get them. Cant really pin point the reason as wordplay is clear in all clues. Think it was one of those days when you are not in sync with Setter's wavelength.
