    While it took long time to crack many clues, 15AC appeared as an easy nut to crack!
    I think police is anagrind [means to check, regulate, control]

  4. A stressful solve. However, one could fill in a few blanks easily .

    MILDEW is wonderful wordplay ! MUST as in musty ! MILD+ partners = E& W.

    One has heard about TALLBOY, but LOWBOY is well illustrated bu=y the picture which I have seen but never knew as LOWBOY! why not MID(get) BOY ? What next MIDBOY ?
