22A MONZA = F1 circuit Italy { MON first day, ZA extremes of English characters} 12A BUDDH = F1 circuit India { Gautama BUDDHA losing footing} 15A SUZUKA = F1 circuit Japan { Suzuki-I +A}
'With' in the middle is confusing. Not sure if it is kosher while indicating last letters. What I mean is from 'Case with grub' at bottom gives us only EB.
17A- Agleam-Radiant- A(GLEA)M Morning- AM Happiness- Glee. ~ When spoken (5A) it becomes 'Glea' I was struggling with V for five for a long time. Good one but tricky.
Is No end the correct indicator to remove the first letter? It should be no start. Ends may be used to indicate both ends, but when end comes alone itis always the last letter.
No. Ends/ either end is ok. But when end is mentioned alone it is always taken as completion or last letter. Maybe, since it is a down clue top end may refer to the start. I am not sure about it though. Leave it to the experts.
I think this grid was not well connected. If we draw an approximately diagonal line there are only 2 crossings. And there are only 2 connections each into the extreme Nort-East and South-West corners.

Is No end the correct indicator to remove the first letter? It should be no start. Ends may be used to indicate both ends, but when end comes alone itis always the last letter.
DeleteI felt it could be used this way as well. Like when a word is written out left to right, there's one end and the other end.
DeleteNo. Ends/ either end is ok. But when end is mentioned alone it is always taken as completion or last letter. Maybe, since it is a down clue top end may refer to the start. I am not sure about it though. Leave it to the experts.
