    2. I thought as much, Abhishek. Plot is graph and very long story is epic.
      Very long story plot is
      Epic graph.
I didn’t know how to get rid of c at the end of epic.
Anyway, epigraph also happens to be a direct definition.
I simply ventured ( although half heartedly)

  28. Thanks for attempting the grid. Apologies on the error in enum for 7d.. pleasdr let me know your feedback (positive and negative)

    For 1a) intended anno was

    Long story - epic
Very - intended as indicator to take most of epic
    Plot - graph
The whole clue is the definition

    1. Taken separately your explanation sounds plausible. But in the clue to take 'very long' as almost long looks a little far fetched and difficult to perceive. Also,Epic itself can be a very long story.

  29. @Abhishek: Does very indicate most of the following word? If it is so, it is new to me!
    Thanks.

  30. I'm not sure if it's a standard indicator. My rationale was - "very" can be used in context of "most". For example, very close and most close. So, I took the liberty to use "very" to take most of the following word and also it fit the context here. Happy to be corrected :)
