ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the fare. Did not have to 'TRAI' hard to get 13A. HEATHROW and AIRBORNE coming one after the other was interesting.
My COD 22A - ALLOPATHS. I had learnt AU PAIR from the serial Mind Your Language good 30 years ago, so it came easy.
26A - AVE is just a greeting or salutation, and not necessarily a prayer, in my humble opinion . Ave Maria is a famous prayer, though.
ARTILLERY was really good. SATURATION POINT and ABSOLUTE ALCOHOL were awesome.
Having suffered three-time recurrence of typhoid fever just two months ahead of final exams in college, RELAPSE came in a jiffy.
20D reminded me of a word for 'greedy' in Indian languages - swaarthi. :)
There is no Holiday notice regarding tomorrow in the paper and I have two specials lined up!! Any clues anyone whether the paper will appear tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteI suspect that in line with earlier practice, there will be an edition tomorrow and the holiday notice will appear in it stating that Wed being a holiday, there will be no ed on Thur.

ReplyDeleteIn that case what I will do is I will post one special tomorrow around 11 AM so that it is ok for those in the other time zones and the second special I shall post on Thursday since there will be no paper. Anyway shall decide tomorrow morning after the paper appears at my doorstep.

Liked swarthy, probably because I assumed bashful to be the def. and wondering. In Au pair, there is an indicator for French. Remembered the discussion on this a few days ago.
