  1. The word 'lapsed' was used by Raju here, in exactly the same meaning as "having lost faith". Remember?

  3. Several interesting and well disguised anagrams, enjoyable clues and surface reading. Learnt a lot with many ref.'s to google and dictionary. Missed out on Mimosa, though I knew about one of that family- Mimosa Pudica, known popularly as 'Thoongumooji maram' in Tamil (meaning the tree that sleeps)The leaves close on sunset.

    2. Yes, you are right. Leaves close on touch and not after sunset as I had mentioned.

  5. Col., Thanks for the Araucaria link a couple of days ago - I saw the video today and it was so nicely done. It was refreshing to see the dignified way in which the Reverend discussed the situation. Also, I had never given a thought to his age - at 91, he creates clues that seem to indicate he is less than half that age. I have always admired that - I don't know how much mischievousness I can conjure up at 70, which our own Gridman turned recently but whose clues jump out like a teen as well.

    1. 17 Ac. (Ouija) Apologies for the lapse. It could have been "activity" instead of "interaction".
