    SMORGASBORDS! Quite a mouthful and a good fill. Devil may care! These days nobody wants to call to mind either TREASURY BENCHES or the other side.

    Doubtful annos 4A, 8D, 17D and 19D. ARTERIAL, PORTIA, ELECTIVE, LIES IN, TREASURE, CENTRAL AMERICAS, THRUST, ABOARD, OCTAGON well clued.
