ReplyDeleteHearty Congratulations to Col on the upcoming 5th birthday of this Blog. I had joined the blog for the last four years of its journey which has been marked by many eventful value additions and a growing camaraderie among the community of solvers.
ReplyDeleteWe look forward eagerly to the festivities on 4 Feb. Also, immediately to the Special Jumbo Prize Cryptic Crossword today as a Curtain-raiser for this.
M25: also jokingly referred to as the world's largest parking lot. Remember being caught in a traffic jam without moving for over 2 hrs en route to Gatwick and missed the flight as well
ReplyDeleteIts a pity that this crossie that is so easy, yet elusive with some strange words and phrases has not been attempted by other regulars --They no not what they have missed. Do they ever revisit the sites to attempt at leisure? To me, a crossie blank is a challenge untried !! I always do.
